Mike went above and beyond to get our son's truck fixed on Christmas Eve. He texted us late in the afternoon to let us know that it would be ready for our son for Christmas. Not only is the buying experience with Mike pleasant, the trust we have in him to take care of our cars is invaluable, and it gives us a comfort we could not get anywhere else. I cannot put into words how much we appreciate Mike for his honestly, trustworthiness, and his dedication to ensuring our family is taken care of.

I highly recommend Mike and Hojco Automotive. We've bought 2 vehicles from him and also had repair work done. We got in a pinch after an unfortunate accident and he was prompt in helping us find a car, and went above and beyond to take care of us! Great service, reliable cars, and is now our first go-to when we need a vehicle.

We cannot recommend Mike and his business anymore if you are in need of a reliable, sound car for a new driver. Mike is honest, fair and willing to help you beyond the purchase of your automobile. We are so lucky to have found this shop! My son purchased his first car from Hojco automotive and it has been a great first vehicle. Affordable and dependable, which is exactly what he needed. We went to Hojco after striking out at many traditional independent dealers. We were defeated with the limited options elsewhere. As soon as we met Mike at Hojco we knew we were in good hands and would find a reliable, safe car for our teen daughter. We actually had so many choices - a good problem to have. Mike is extremely trustworthy and is upfront about the cars he buys and the service he performs. He listened to our needs and made helpful recommendations to steer us in the right direction to purchase the best car for us! We have since recommended him to many of our friends and plan to have the car serviced at Hojco to keep it running well. Go see Mike at Hojco!

After looking for weeks for a car for my teenage daughter, I came across Hojco Automotive. When reading reviews and perusing the website, I felt good about the company. After meeting Mike, I felt great about it!!
Mike has teenagers of his own and understands the wants and needs of both teens and parents. He sold us a great car at a great price and put our family at ease by offering a warranty. He was happy to fix a punch list of small items and had our new car back on the road in no time.
It is good to know where I am going to buy my next car when my son is old enough to drive. I would highly recommend Hojco!

Back again after another fantastic experience with Hojco
We are a steady, loyal customer. With 3 teenagers now grown, Hojco has supported us with quality, reasonably priced vehicles that have been dependable and safe for our family. The cars are reconditioned with pride and Mike stands beside his work, when somethings goes wrong.
One of my kids had to replace his vehicle due to an accident. Mike quickly found similar car, did the necessary repairs and reconditioning and had him on the road ASAP.
If you have a new driver or looking for a dependable daily driver for reasonable price, hit Mike up first.

Today I completed the purchase of my 4th vehicle from Hojco. I just picked up a 2014 Subaru Legacy Premium for my going on 17 year old son (current permit holder but expects to be licensed by the summer) so that I can give him plenty of practice driving. I want people to know that the owner, Mike Hojnowski, continues to impress me with his vehicles. But more importantly, he impresses me as a great human being. Mike is one of the finest men I have ever met. His integrity and ethics are unquestionable, and he puts so much effort into making sure that your purchase experience a positive one. He is providing a great service to our community by providing good, safe & solid, affordable vehicles at a reasonable price. Mike's passion for doing the right thing and treating his customers the way he would want to be treated is evident in every transaction I have done with him. I urge anyone reading this who has the need for a good used vehicle to take the opportunity to speak with Mike about what he has to offer. You will not encounter the usual car sales gimmicks and pressure that is the norm when dealing with the typical car lot dealers. I have only purchased 1 other vehicle that was not from Hojco in the last 8 years only because he did not have a certain large SUV that I required. But I believe that Mike is able to source more vehicles than he was able to then, so I don't plan to ever purchase from anyone else again. Buying from Hojco is a completely different experience that I highly recommend 110%, and am willing to speak to anyone to provide a personal reference. My son is thrilled with his "new" car, and I am confident that it will provide him with a lot of good use and functionality without the big sticker price. We bought a Honda Accord for our 16 year old son from Mike at Hojco. It was a great experience! Mike is so nice to get to know, welcoming us into his garage to meet Leo (the hardest worker ever), Adam, his son home from ECU working over break & Riley, their docile dog. He was honest, caring & forthcoming with information about his cars & genuinely cared about our concerns & financial needs. Purchasing a car from Hojco comes with Mike's request that we bring the car to him every 3-4 months for him to look over. This comfort & security means everything to us, we couldn't ask for more! He was purposeful about guiding our son on important driving & roadside safety. He gave him an emergency kit to remain in the car & went through each item in it. He makes the purchasing process so easy & gives you everything you need to make the DMV visit painless (unheard of). We have a quality car that is safe for our son & the comfort of knowing Mike is there for us should the car need anything in the future! He has our highest recommendation!

A more trustworthy business is not easily found. My first Xterra I took to 293,000 miles. I fell in love with the vehicle’s look and handling through many hiking and camping trips. I purchased my second Xterra with 140K miles from Mike at Hojco Automotive and it couldn’t have gone smoother. I have taken that to 221K+ and it keeps running smoothly. There are expected wear and tear items that need replacing on an older vehicle, but the parts are always reasonable costs and repairs are generally easy. Mike is always ready to help with suggestions and looks out for his owners well past what any other dealer may offer. His passion for helping people with reliable cars exceeds any expectations. Call him for your next great car!

Great experience with Mike at Hojco Automotive. It took two visits to his shop before we decided on "08 Xterra and during each visit Mike was kind and patient enough to explain the pros and cons of each vehicle we were considering before finally making a decision we couldn't be more happy with! There were a couple of stumbles along the way, but we really appreciated Mike's upfront communication and willingness to address our questions and issues. That being said, we are already looking forward to our next purchase this spring when our daughter hits the road.

We have purchased two Xterra’s from Hojco! Bought one for our mountain house and have climbed many mountains with that beast. Just bought one for my 16 year olds first vehicle, he absolutely loves it. Got the BT radio, rear camera and tow hitch added. Super safe ride for a new driver and his friends are already asking where he got it. It’s nice to purchase used vehicles from a person who cares about the customer as well as the vehicle. Here is a picture of our new Xterra! Mike did an awesome job getting this Gamecock garnet Xterra ready for us! This will be my son's first car when he gets his license later this summer/fall. Until then, she will be my daily driver! You will not find anyone who is more honest, sincere, and devoted to his passion of providing these safe vehicles for new drivers. His communication is awesome. He will keep you informed before, during, and after the transformation! This baby has a tow hitch, rear camera for easy hooking up, and a bluetooth stereo system. I highly recommend Mike and Hojco Automotive, LLC for your child's first vehicle, or your second vehicle. He changed the timing belt and water pump, which means it will not require engine service for 105K miles, excluding oil/filter changes. It feels great to have a vehicle you know will have Nissan reliability along with the safety of a body on frame Xterra for your child.
